Frequently asked questions
Is the stamp maker really free?
Yes. You can design and download stamps as many times as you like, at no cost, with no watermark and no account required.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser — just open the page and start designing.
What file formats can I download?
You can export a transparent PNG (great for documents, Word, PDFs and the web) or a scalable SVG vector file (ideal for printing and for stamp manufacturers).
Will the background be transparent?
Yes. PNG exports use a transparent background by default, so your stamp sits cleanly on any document. You can turn this off in the Export tab if you prefer a white background.
What resolution should I use for printing?
Choose the “Print (10×)” option in the Export tab for a high-resolution PNG, or download the SVG, which stays sharp at any size.
Can I upload my own logo?
Yes. In the Logo tab you can upload a PNG, JPG or SVG image. Your file is processed locally in your browser and is never uploaded to a server.
Is my data private?
Completely. All rendering happens on your device. We do not receive your text, logos or finished stamps.
Can I make a round, oval or rectangular stamp?
Yes — the tool supports circular, double-ring, oval, square, rectangular, rounded and triangular shapes. Switch between them instantly in the Shape tab.
Can I add curved text around the edge?
Yes. For round and oval stamps you can add curved text along the top and bottom, plus multiple straight lines and a date in the center.
How do I add today’s date?
Open the Text tab, tick “Show date”, and pick your preferred date format. The current date is inserted automatically.
Can I use these stamps for official or legal documents?
Stampzio is a design tool. Whether a stamp is legally valid depends on your country and the document. Always check local requirements, and for regulated stamps (notary, medical, official seals) confirm the format with the relevant authority.
Can I order a physical rubber stamp?
We do not sell physical stamps, but you can download an SVG or high-resolution PNG and send it to any local stamp manufacturer to have it produced.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The editor is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets and desktops.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is available in English, French and Arabic. You can type your stamp text in any language.
Can I edit a stamp later?
The design is not saved automatically, so we recommend downloading the SVG — you can keep it as your master file and re-import it into other tools later.
